Harmonic Suppression System Technology:

Harmonics Limited utilizes a patented Harmonic Suppression System Technology
“HSS” which blocks 3rd harmonic currents in electrical distribution systems. Designed as an completely passive system architecture, these products require minimal maintenance, while offering the highest reliability option available in the industry. The “HSS” technology is used in three key applications, whereby mostly the packaging of the system changes to meet every demanding application; 1) configured to be coupled with a transformer to mitigate 3rd harmonics in the power line neutral (15KVA to 1000KVA standard, to 1500KVA custom product), 2) configured to be placed in parallel with generators to mitigate 3rd harmonics in ground currents ( up to 2000kW for delta or wye configurations), 3) configured as a high frequency voltage attenuator upstream to IGBT motor drive applications (up to 500HP in 480V, 240V, and 208V IGBT drive applications).
